Right at the Orpen entrance to the Kruger National Park and the Manyelti Game Reserve a unique project has been established. Manyeleti - “Place of the many Stars” forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park where fences has been removed so that wild animals could migrate freely to during the various seasons. It is here where a luxury tented camp with 12 large cottage tents was built by members of the Mnisi. The camp offers you the ultimate real African rural experience.

Whilst you sometimes listen to the elders telling their stories around a campfire and in the distance cow bells of cattle returning home signals the end of the day, you will sometimes find the same time a hyena calling and lions roaring in the distance, telling you that Africa is ALIVE…
During daytime you can book a game drive in this forgotten section of the Kruger National Park….the Manyeleti…”Place of the Stars”. The ULTIMATE experience though is to book a Guided on-foot trail through this wilderness lead by highly skilled and trained guides. This pearl reserve is amongst the most famous game reserves in South Africa and at times hosts possibly with the highest density of predators in comparison to any other section of Kruger. Your trails frequently offer you, Rhino, lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, wild dogs and the spectacular large herds of buffalo.

Wild Olive Tree is perfectly located to use as base to explore the area. For those who would also like to self-drive Kruger Park this is an ideal starting point to do so. Just book into the camp and you will be the first driving through the Krugers’ gates into this magnificent area.
You could also visit the local Village by booking a Guided Tour to learn about the local Tribes, Chiefdom and lifestyle.
